Let’s have a low-key morning exploring the Five Rivers nature centers. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy outdoors on the property.

Come to 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center for the Bird and Nature Expo on Saturday, October 7, 9am-1pm. Free, fun, and family-friendly, participate in a variety of activities and exhibits hosted by local and state environmental groups, non-profits, and other agencies. Experience a raptor show, touch tanks, and various crafts. Learn about conservation and bird habitat, and more! Food trucks will be onsite.
For a second year, is not only the more centrally located venue to encourage participation from both sides of the Bay, but back by popular demand, three FREE 1-hour boat tours! Boat tours depart from 5 Rivers, cruise around the bend to Meaher State Park, then back to 5 Rivers. Pontoon boat tours will be led by Mason Currier, a junior birder, who leads birding tours for young birders in Coastal Alabama. Boat tours will be first come first served and run at 9am, 10am, and 12:30pm.
Raptor shows by the Environmental Studies Center will be at 10:00am and 12:00pm under the outdoor pavilion.
